Here to check out an instructor who is supposed to be fab. But, as usual, I'm too early. I need some procrastination skills.

This day was going really well.  I remembered both my errands and got them done.  Great swim. Amazon paid me double what I thought they might for an old phone I sent to their trade in program. Great Anita lunch.  And the Mariners, in an afternoon game, were leading by 3 runs in the 3rd.

Then I got an IM from my project manager asking if I was working on the bugs she sent.  Bugs?  My bug notifier is, apparently taking the fuckin day off!!!!  CRIPE!!

So while I madly got the work done that she needed, the Mariners got to the 6th inning by letting Arizona score a bucket o' runs and grab the lead like a dog with a bone.  It's now 10-5.  blech.

Caught up for now. Am waiting for instructions on some testing.

My index finger joint is driving me a little nuts.  The supplements I was taking aren't doing squat.  Today I'm trying Advil and it's helping a little.

Holy crap, Arizona just scored a 2 run inside the park home run.... now it's 14-6.   Now those are the Mariners I'm used to.  Whew.

And, speaking of whew, it looks like I'll have enough work hours this pay period to cover my 401K contribution.  I wonder if the rest of this year is going to be cutting it as close as I am this time.  But, at least I'm cool this round.

<curmudgeon>
There has been a fair amount of conversation recently in the media about how we need schools in downtown Seattle. It makes me twitch every time I read it in a headline.  One of the joys of living downtown is that it is basically a child free neighborhood without being a senior center.
There's one child who lives on my hall who is now about 8 or 9.  She is a screacher and a runner.  And is, apparently, allowed to do whatever she wants by her mother and grandmother with whom she lives.  We do not need more of her.
The downtown core is surrounded by lovely suburbs and neighborhoods all of which are suited for children.  And they have schools.

clearly too many mystery novels and or L&O on TV when I consider the clipping of my fingernails and toenails as collecting DNA samples...

My friend, Mathew leans towards hyperbole. So I clicked just to ensure this was another case of that.  And while I know there are plenty of humans who would not get misty-eyed scrolling down this page, turns out, I'm not one of them.

Sigh, the best croque madame in town is no more...  The Spring Hill brunch menu has been retired and croque madame didn't make it on the new menu. A bientot, mon favorite...

I need a couple of wire hangers for a diy project.  Frustratingly, there is not a wire hanger in this house.  Not one.  Not even one of those wire pant hangers.  What was Joan Crawford's daughter's name - spose she still has some she wants to unload?
Guess I'll have to find a dry cleaners tomorrow and see if they will sell me a couple.
