I am not at all sure why I'm even starting this. Years ago I kept a journal religiously and used it to work out my inner most thoughts. The guy I was going with at the time found it and read it and had some serious issues with my inner most thoughts. But, what really nailed me was that he couldn't keep this little discovery to himself. He had to tell me because he felt too guilty. The whole experience kind of ruined the journal thing for a long long time (not to mention driving a stake through that relationship).

But, I cannot resist cool software and I'm always at a computer at work or at home or on the road so... what the heck.

Ok... now I think I have it looking like I want or at least a look I can live with for a while.

Today was a big day for me. I am a card carrying dental phobic. I broke a tooth last November and have chipped off several pieces since then. It was only a matter of time before a piece broke off that would cause great pain so I had to get it fixed. I did find a really nice dentist with a wonderful staff and got it fixed today. I've been dreading it for weeks and now it's done. My friend at work ask me a bit ago if I was still basking in the post-tooth-fix high. I absolutely am.

I think the plan du jour here is to keep this up for a while and see where it goes. I'm may weave it into my website and I might even use it to replace what is my Kingdome Cam - a daily photo of the new stadium they are building. Once it's built, the daily description of the site might need a shot in the arm. We'll just see.

I am so addicted to this game. It's silly. I went through a few years of some serious Free Cell-itis. But, when I got Windows XP I found Spider Solitaire and I haven't looked back. I'd never seen it before because I went from Windows 98 to Windows 2000 to XP and never saw ME which is where, I believe, it first appeared.

I have Windows 2000 at work which is a blessing - No SS. Today I finally got up to 28% for the first time. It was quite the milestone. I've been at 27% for forever. Mind you this is in the intermediate game - 2 suits. And I am not shy about using the 'undo'.
