The trip

I'm up and it's a little too early to leave for the bus. I'm quite lucky in that I can catch a metro bus from two blocks away that will get me to the airport in 20 minutes for $1.25. It's quite handy. The Seattle airport is a mess since 9/11 so getting there 2 hours early is minimum. My flight leaves at 11 and then I get a 4 hour layover in Houston. I will be trying out the LJ PDA client for sure. I get in to Charleston - if everything goes as it should about 9:45 p.m.

the bus was right on time and there was no delay. Got here (airport) 4 hours before flght and so, naturally, there was no line at the ticket counter or at security.

The bad news is that i am an idiot. The good news is that i do NOT have a 4 hour layover in houston. It is actually an hour.

But i do have 2 more hours here in seattle - think i'll go find coffee.
