My own worst enemy

Is... of course, me. Today I deleted - two years worth of sorted and saved emails. I was shooting for 1 potentially virus laden email and managed to obliterate the entire tree structure. So nice. My last full back up was February and the good news is that I did not delete the Sent Mail and I'm big on replying with original so I managed to get back most of the critical stuff. I hope. My computer karma has been off about 6 pixels for about the past week. I'd like to have it back, please.

The Mariners are playing on the east coast this week meaning that the games start at 4. My wonderful manager if very understanding about my needing to be in front of my TV for all Mariner games. This week the deal is, I'll come in early and split at 4 instead of 5. But, this has been one heck of a week. The first three days come 4 p.m. I'm not even close to being done for the day. Usually I use 4-5 to catch up and get ready for tomorrow. Not this week. A day and a half left... I need a break.

Monday we have a public company announcement which means I'll be up to my cuticles in web pages - posting announcements and press hits. So this weekend - after my manicure on Friday (I need to get the curicles ready!), and maybe a grocery stop - I'm in for the weekend.

I'm becoming more and more certain that there will be no more baseball after the 30th and that just sucks.
