Friday!!

This morning was another zoo at work that really started about 2 a.m. with my getting up to update the web page so the East coast customer could get the files they wanted when they got to work this morning. I had a manicure appointment at 1:30 and had planned to take the afternoon off but work was a mess. I told my manager that I could cancel or postpone my appointment and/or come back after and she said thanks but not necessary. So I got to leave and do it guilt free. I've had some more web updates this afternoon but that's fine.

I made a grocery run after the manicure. I forgot we were closing in on the Jewish New Year and the store was packed with folks laying in the goods for the holiday. I got my stuff and got out. I did pick up two dinner-in-a-box things I'd never seen before. One is a chicken, mashed potatoes and biscut hot dish thing and the other is ham and cheesey chrispy potatoes hot dish thing. I cannot imagine they are going to be any good but what the heck thought it was interesting to try. Maybe even tonight.

The air conditioner went into it's winter home (storage cabinet on the terrace) this afternoon. I am tired of hot weather and am ready for the cool cool fall.
