Today's project

I had some muslin left over from the Labor Day Closet Project. And I have 3 ladder back rush seated chairs. They are kind of antiques. The first house I ever bought was furnished with old stuff. I was dating a furniture restorer at the time and he said these chairs were the only thing of any value. Anyway, they need to be refinished now and the rush needs to be redone.

Betty loves them. She sees no difference between the rush and her scratch box. She's killing them. So Now they are safe.

The rest of Saturday

I went into the office to do some stuff and got a good amount of stuff done. I needed to print out a bunch of stuff on special paper and it's so much easier to do when I know for sure no one else is going to be trying to print. It's also nice to get organized when no one is talking to you.

Back home to the rest of the kung pao beef. Yum. It's a bit warm here... The internet says Seattle is current at 64 degrees. The internet is a lying sack of shit. It is at least 10 degrees warmer than that. My thermometer says it's 80 degrees inside and 77 degrees outside. I was promised cool weather. I am not happy.

Football boat?

So the opening game of the Seahawks foot ball season is tomorrow - their first official regulation game in the new stadium. The motorhomes are starting to arrive tonight. One of them just pulled in with a boat on the back. I'm not that up on my football so I'll be getting the binoculars out tomorrow to see just how they use the boat for the game. Could be interesting.
