For 30 years I have wondered...
Jan. 19th, 2003 07:38 amActually for more than 30 years but today's Roe vs. Wade decision brings it to mind front.
I cannot fathom why any person of the male persuassion should have any part - even the tiniest part - in any decision I make about my ability to reproduce or any reproduction I chose or chose not do do.
Some of my best friends are men. I love them and I cherish them and I look to them for advice and counsel and for help of all kinds. But, this is one area where they have absolutely no business at all.
I feel strongly about a lot of things and am willing to discuss and debate and be persuaded on most all of them. But, not this one. It makes my nerve endings fray when I think that men even get an opinion much less a vote on this issue.
