I slept like a rock last night. I did have a more vivid than usual dream last night that I went back to work for IBM. I usually don't remember dreams and if I do, I don't remember enough to even describe.

Mom told me today that she wants a transistor radio. I know exactly what she means. I actually have a good one that I could send her but I use it so I need to find one for her.

She also asked me to see about getting her credit card changed. She has a US Air frequent flyer Visa. It's with Bank of America. She and Daddy got it years and years ago and Daddy had worked a deal so that they did not pay an annual fee. Apparently that deal is over and she is now paying a fee and since she's never going anywhere and US Air has made it nearly impossible to book a flight using the miles anyway (plus, they just filed for bankruptcy again) so she wants me to fix it.

I looked at the bill online this morning and discovered that she's been paying $90 a year! Holey crap. I'm sure that this is not going to be an easy thing. My experience with Bank of America credit card customer service has not been pretty and I'm sure this is going to be ugly. I'm guessing that they are going to say that it cannot be done that we will have to close that account and open another one. Mom is hard over on staying with Bank of America. "They have always given us great service - they one time gave your father a refund when it was even his fault." Now, this little bit of customer service had to have happened at least 7 years ago. And, probably when it was North Carolina National Bank. But, no matter...

Great walk again this morning. I wish Lee would come walk with me again but she's not taking my hints. Oh well. It is fun to see things differently. I'd gotten so that I was always on the lookout for what my Treo could photograph nicely. Now that I have way more pixels and zoom, I can see a lot more things and some of the same things differently. (If you click on the camera, you can see today's crop.) Fun.
I watched a DVD from Netflix yesterday that turned out to be kind of fun. Connie and Carla is about two women who pretend to be men so they can join a drag queen review in West Hollywood. The first 10 minutes do not bode well. I would have gotten up and popped it out of the machine but I was in the middle of a knitting row and didn't want to move. By the time I got to the end of the row, I was sucked in, stayed to the end and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Now it's time to clean up the kitchen and stuff the dishwasher, gather the dirty clothes and stuff the clothes washer, then strip and get into the shower (stuff the people washer?)...

Finally, I saw this flag on a car parked down by the waterfront. It's a perfect one picture story of the 2004 Mariner Season.
