The bytes du jour

Jake made Kitten of the Day!! Way back (and I know from the photo that it was at least last January) I sent in his picture and never heard a word so I guessed it went into a black hole. But this morning I was checking the weekend KOTD photos and there he was!! (And, thanks, ruralrob for your many contributions to my rotating windows wallpaper!)

I have a taker for the table... The coffee table in the living room. My friend, Susan's, daughter has a friend. I sure hope it happens. I told her to tell them to come get it next weekend, plz. I figure that way, if/when it does not happen, I'll have another week to find it a new home.

The local NPR woman this morning told me that the high today would be 69 degrees. She is usually not even close to ever being right about the weather but I'm hoping against hope that today is the first day of her spot on weather forecasting turnaround.

The Seahawks are playing a football game in my stadium this evening. 5 p.m. The guy with the RV and the boat who always claims the same spot about 24 hours before every home game got into his parking spot last night. It always feels like all is right with the world when unexplained but patterned events happen as usual.
