quickie

I got up early, I got organized, I got dressed - real clothes that match and aren't stained. My boss picked me up and we headed out to traffic. Of course between Murphy's law and the carpool lane we got there a good 1.5 hours before our meeting. But it gave us time for a good chat about the other project that is totally out of control. I was able to really explain the problems and he was able to give me good advice and the whole thing turned out to be great.

The meeting was fine. The people we used to do this one job for are turning the project over to a new guy who was really nice and fun and it will all work out okdokey, I believe. They are all going to get together tonight with a bunch of other people for wine and stuff but I don't have time so the woman who is turning the project over (and hosting the party) brought me two take out cheese platters. Fabulous cheese, french bread, olives and almonds - twice over!!! I just had one for lunch and it was heaven. What a really nice thing for her to do.

Now I'm heading back to the code. I'm now dreaming in xml. Nice.

I don't have time to look into it but this whole View Star Jones/Rosie O'Donnell/Barbara Walters thing sounds hilarious to me. Mom watched the View and bitched about it constantly. She would have all the details about this. Now I guess I'll have to wait for TV Guide to get the skippy.
