MisadventurousMelissa has a fun Dog and Cat Diaries entry today.

Bro says he's going to send The Blonde home today via USPS.  [livejournal.com profile] kjaz, would you please let your Austin hub know that Important Cargo is coming through and needs that fast track that Seattle used?  Thanks.

Work is taking a decidedly gooder turn.  Since what I do is very day to day, it's sometimes a little scarey to look comfortably into the future.  But, the boss called this morning about some other stuff and kind of let me in on some very excellent sounding irons he has in the fire with discovery meetings today.

And the pace right now is perfect.  No giant avalanches and no vast deserts of nothing.  Just a nice, middle ground of varying joblets.

Betty is so looking for trouble today.  Unwilling to wait for the laundry to come out of the dryer, she was on top of the washer earlier.  I caught her hopping down and found some tell tale Betty hair that she forgot to tidy up.  Just now she is sitting in front of the glass fireplace doors looking at herself.  Mirror Mirror on the Fireplace, I am beautiful, aren't I?

Jake is napping.  Per usuale.

Everything else is under control.  For now.  I think today might be a good day for a sushi lunch from the good sushi place.  They always only have a limited supply and it's often gone by about noon.  So timing is pretty critical.  I think today it is doable.

I had no time to futz today.  In fact as I sat down to add this entry, I realized I never did even get the second load of laundry out of the dryer from this morning.  Work was hopping from one website to another, from one page to another, tweak here, fix there.  But, I'm now all caught up and ready for the more that I know will come tomorrow.  Nice.

I interviewed my mail carrier today about package delivery here on Saturday and he had some good suggestions for if my computer comes on Saturday.  He said he would be surprise if it did.  More likely Monday.  Good to know.

The front door of our condo unit has one of those 'dial the unit and get buzzed in things'.  It's never been easy for people to figure out and I've never quite known why.  Then about 3 months ago it started having a brain tumor.  Finally they had to kill it and install a replacement.  The new one is very intuitive IF you never figured out the old one.  If you were used to the old one, you are totally fucked now.

Front door TV is great these days.

I think I'll go fold the rest of the clothes and then sit down for some Teddy Bear and TV.
