Day 141 - 2

Not so eventful...  15 minutes on the treadmill.  10 minutes on the rowing machine.  5 minutes on the bike. 

Both the other old white lady and the string bean were there - no hello, not even any eye contact.  :( 

But, I'm getting a star anyway.

no big news

Just a regular day here. 

I did run out this morning and buy gas.  Again.  I lied to davmoo.  The odometer reads 2,300 not 2,200 and I last got gas on June 6, not in May.  Confession is good for the soul. 

And I took another batch of teddy bears.  I'm averaging about 11-12 a month now.  I've got a lot of soft yarn I bought to make afghans with and I'm trying to use it up with Teddy Bears but it's all in boring colors.   But, the teddy bears still look cute even in dull colors.

I'm still flip flopping about Clearwire.  It seems faster than advertised but not as fast as the DSL.  The DSL is way slower than advertised and not steady.  Clearwire is very steady.  I haven't noticed one single blip in service. On DSL, I'd have little no-service bits all day long.  The Clearwire signal is not as strong.  The bedroom computer only gets two bars in the wireless list BUT it seems to respond well to what I need - my LJ friends pages and gmail and odd web pages.

I called today and asked them to send me a copy of the detail of the contract.  She said she would email it but I haven't seen it yet.  I'm calling again tomorrow if I don't get it.  I want to know the details.  I so want to tell my ISP and Qwest to kiss my broadband ass but I want to be hasty.

I have much work to do and it ain't getting done in Semagic!
