I think Betty and Travis took their relationship to a new level while I was gone last week. They have a lot more interaction with each other and while Travis has more energy neither is really an alpha. There's a lot of cuddling. A lot of grooming of each other. I woke up last night to find them snuggled up together at the end of the bed. I'm glad they each have a good kitty friend.

Gym report

30 minutes on the treadmill.  It was good.  Rosie, it seems, found some new muscles yesterday.  There are some spots that are a leetle uncomfortable today.  But probably those new spots needed the work.

The usual suspects minus one or two were on hand.  The best new news is no football on TV.  There are 3 TV's and during football season all three have to be tuned to football.  Today we had a nice mix of motorcross, CNN and I forget what was on the other one.  I am listening to my book so I just watch kinda.

Now I am for sure headed for the shower.  I never made it at all yesterday and ripe would be a good adjective to assign moi right now...

I went back to the Starlight (home of Matthew, darling) for brunch and it was good.  Matthew, darling was nowhere to be seen but small, cute waitress did fine.  I ordered the special before she finished describing it - omelette with crab meat, swiss cheese, avocado, tomato..  it was heaven.  And, apparently, it's not only Matthew who knows how to make that wonderful bloody mary.  I think I may have found my brunch home.

I also found - sometime last week - the handiest tip calculator on my cellphone!!  I'm sure everyone on the face of the earth knows that their cellphone has this except me and now I have joined the club. 

Then I went to Target to see if I could find a small, skinny, table that will blend in in the living room for an idea I have.  I could not but it's ok.  Now I am home and it's time to catch up on CBS Sunday morning.
