  • 16:21 I just finished the first bunny ear and even with only one ear, no eyes and no nose, he's still excruciatingly adorable.
  • 18:43 crapolocity! i finished the second ear only to discover that I put it in the wrong place! Poor bunny. Earectomy complete. New one now.

The electricity here went out at 1:05 am and it woke me up. It took me a while to figure out what was going on. I got up and closed the two laptops to conserve battery power. The stadium parking lights were on as were some lights in the buildings I could see. Hmmmm

I finally got back to sleep and woke up again when everything came back on. I think it was about 30 minutes later. I booted up the desktop because it chimes on the quarter hour and figured that was easier than setting clocks.

We rarely lose electricity here and with so many around here being flooded out, it seems like a very minor inconvenience. Still disconcerting. I wonder how many people in the building did not wake up and had their alarms fail this morning...

I did all my exercises.  Saturday I start a new program with Nadia.  I hope it's a good as this one.  But with less lunges.

Once again, the gym was jumpin'.  Lots of peops and 2 dogs.  The dogs, however, should not count.  Lucky, Tija's dog was napping in her bed and the little chihuahua was hanging around the water cooler begging for pets (which she got from every one - the little slutty thing had one a foxy little jacket).

Tija is pissed at Starbucks for moving their offices out of the building and this morning she had her full steam on staring at a newspaper headline that said they bought a jet.

On the way back home, building manager, Scott, popped out of his office to swap spit about the outage.  He said it was only for about 30 minutes.  He has a checklist he has to go through and he had just finished it when the lights came back on.

That's my world today so far...  but it will stink if I don't get a shower.

New yarn!!! I love a full basket!

It's hard, however, to distinguish the new bunny head from the skeins. It's there, I promise.

It's hilarious how much I love every single creature that comes off my needles. I'm like the rock artist who's favorite album is the one just finished. This rabbit is my new favorite.
