Hitting the streets

I finished up all the work I had yesterday and while there is more to be done, it has not been assigned to me yet. I hope it will be today but there's nothing I can do to goose it along so my plan is to just enjoy the free time until it does.

First a walk and brunch at Boka. Then I need to photograph the Month of Mainly Bears. Tomorrow is drop off day.

Then I'm not sure what, but I have lovely options.

For now, it's shower, dress and hit the streets.

I'm still futzing with the best way to snap the the month's worth but I think I'll declare this one a deal. They go off to the Baby Corner in the morning.

Whew and my eyes

My CPA just called and there is a chance that the giant tax bill I was afraid up will actually be a small refund!!! If not, it will be a very tiny tax bill - like $100. I am so relieved.

About a month ago, I quit wearing the contact lens I've been wearing for years and began enjoying much better eyesight - both distance and close up. My distance vision is still fabulous but my close up vision is slowly deteriorating... again. Weird.

I hate the eye doctor 'more clear here, or here? now? what about now?' over and over and over again. Plus, I have never found one I like or even didn't hate. The place I went to last time was nice but the doctor was awful. I think I'm going to call them and ask them if I can see another one of their doctors instead. If I recall correctly, the staff - the one who would handle such a request - were above and beyond great. I think I'll give 'me a call this week.

I do like that my CPA works on Sunday and feels free to call me on Sunday. I don't know why that tickles me but it does.
