Gym Report

Another shoe trial. 30 minutes on the treadmill. I think this pair is a keeper. They weren't perfect but they don't feel like boats which my regular pair and the other new pair did and they do have a nice high, cushy arch like my sandals. And they aren't butt ugly.

Otherwise the 30 minutes was fairly uneventful. The weather forecast leads me to believe there will be little chance of sun glare in the gym this week so that means I can go any time safely. Nice.

Now I have to take a shower and get ready for my telephone appointment.

A very different day

My Helpdesk guy never called. Which was mildly annoying but ok. I RAS'd in and had some work to do so I just went to work. And then, I started getting hungry and all of a sudden realized that

1. 4 hours had past and it was lunchtime!
2. I had not lost my RAS connection one time!!!

Holy moley. So I ate lunch.

Then I did some more work. Then I was writing a not to Helpdesk Guy asking him to postpone the call when he called. We chatted. I explained that I want to leave well enough alone for now. He agreed. The end. At least for now.

Meanwhile, at my brother's suggestion, I started a ping trace on my personal laptop to get a feel for the Comcast side of things and from 9:30 this morning until 1:30 this afternoon, I lost a total of 5 packets. I'm going to keep a ping trace going for a while so that if/when I lose connection on the work computer, I can see if there's a match.

I made an appointment with a dermatologist. I remembered that my regular guy sent me to one more than a year ago so I called his office and ask them who I saw. Dr. Zoop! So I called her office and she's all backed up so my appointment isn't until May but that's ok.

Work is definitely back. I've been writing this one entry now for more than 2 hours! Nice.
