I'm up again before dawn but I gave myself an hour of just fooling around before I get to work. So I've checked LJ and other intranets and had some tea and listened to the news. When I've finished this entry, I am going to take a shower, get dressed and get to work.

I don't think I'm going to take the time for a long walk and brunch today. I think what I might do is for a break, when it's daylight, get up and go explore the road work they are doing down the street. I think they have some of the new sidewalks finished so I'll circle around a couple of blocks and check it out and stretch my legs.

And I need to take the garbage to the dumpster and get cat food and litter out of the car and bring it up here.

It should be one heck of a thrilling day.

I'm up, I'm showered. I'm dressed and as soon as I finish this entry, I'm going to get back to work. I am skipping walk, brunch and the gym... but after I get a few hours done, I'm going to go out and circle around the blocks around here and check on the new ramps and sidewalks that they are finishing at the end of this long city block.

I also need to go down to the car and get more litter and cat food. At least I have it in the car and don't have to go shopping.

Today I worked on Italy. This project covers different languages and locales and today was Italy. And, with no interruptions, I got a ton done but I feel like I've been whipped to bits with wet sharp edged xml code.

I did take 30 minutes and walked around a couple of blocks outside which was refreshing.

I'm going to take the rest of the day off and start with the rest of Italy tomorrow morning. Usually on Mondays, I can get in a couple of hours before people start bugging me. Let's hope that holds in the morning.

I have CBS Sunday Morning to watch and soon 60 Minutes and other TIVO goodies.

I've been working for the past few days with naked eyes. No contacts/no glasses and I've been getting a long fine. Interesting how my eyes are working so much better now than they were a year ago. Weird actually It's been a year since I last went to the eye doctor (when he changed my contact lens to bifocal). When I get some time, I might go back (my insurance pays for one checkup a year) and ask him about it.

I wish I could find some mews on TV that reported the news sans extreme emotions. I do not want reporters or anchors to tell me how to feel or tell me how they feel about the news they are reporting. The facts, m'am, that's what I'm after, not the opinions of the cast.
