I'd forgotten how disconcerting switching projects can be. There's the downtime. In the past it has been as long as several months or, like this time, a couple of weeks. I get antsy and tired of having no work and a little bored. Then I get work and now I'm all 'I don't have time for this!'...
I have several days work in house now. And the trainer for the new project called and wants to come over this afternoon and spend a couple of hours showing me stuff. I don't know this woman and hate these new introduction things.
But, it only happens once, usually, and then I get back to doing it on my own. It will be fine.
---
No swimming today - or maybe swimming at 6 - we'll see how I feel about it at 5:30.
---
They are apparently going to start work on the project across the street from my terrace next week. http://www.northlotdevelopment.com/index.html I'm seriously considering a photo a day. Of course, right now, the damn tree is blocking the view. Here's my test pic.
I'm also trying to decide whether to house them on Flickr or Picasa. Happily the camera, which I can leave out there on a tripod, has the eye-fi card which auto uploads to whichever I want. I just have to decide.
---
The dealership called me yesterday evening to tell my license plates arrived. So now I need to go pick them up. I'm thinking of popping down there in the morning. If I don't do it soon, I might not ever have time to it!
---
Ok, lunch break is over. Time to get back to work!
