quality even if not quantity...

I slept late this morning - comparatively speaking... I didn't wake up til 5:15. But, the sleep until then was good. I even got up to pee once and got back into bed with no breathing problems and went right back to sleep. Just like the good old days. At 5:15, I got up to pee again and when I got back into bed, there was no sleep. My wheezing was too loud! But loud breathing is better than out of breath, in my book. So I just got up and got coffee and have been entertaining myself on the computer.

On Wednesday night, I placed an order for a refurbished Jawbone speaker at All4cellular. And somehow messed up because I did not get an order number and didn't set up an account so I could not track. On Thursday morning, I realized the whole order was a stupid idea. I do not need one of these speakers and don't even really want it. Yeah, I could refuse delivery and/or return it, but the least hassle would be cancel. They didn't open again until 6am my time today. At 6:05 I called and after a bit of a hold, got a really nice lady who found my order and happily canceled it for me! Score. Thank you!!

Edit after: I just got a real person email from All4celluar confirming my cancel - a very nice touch. I am going to have to shop here again but next time for real.

I have no real plans for today. I have work work to do and I want to pop over to Grocery Outlet for a couple of things but otherwise, I'm going to stay in, take it easy and just enjoy the day and heal.

So far... so good

I've done a lot of work work and got to a nice stopping place. I may do more later or just wait until tomorrow.

I cleaned up the kitchen. Then down to the garage to pick up some delivered packages and take out garbage and then up to install some nice cable covers over some ugly cables. Turns out the extension cord cover that I got for the fish room also works fine for covering up the webcam cables and I had plenty left so I can send the webcam cable cover back and just use the much nicer extension cord one. It took some fiddling - like doing it twice, once backwards and once frontwards. Several trips up the ladder.

And I am still breathing. I'm coughing a little but not huge coughing fits, just the once in a while cough when a water bottle is not nearby to sip. If sipping is an option, I can kill the cough all together.

I really think I am better but... I got better last time with the prednizone and it didn't stick so this could very well be a prednizone high that will quit when I run out. Not horrible, at least I'll have a few good days!!

I think now I'm going to press my luck and make a trip to Grocery Outlet.
