One more day of rest
Nov. 27th, 2011 09:07 amAbout half because of the Seahawks game and about half because of the way I feel, today will be a stay at home, stay quiet, rest day. I am so over this whole illness. I'd like it to be gone tomorrow. Thx.
I could go out to brunch but I'm just not up for fighting the idiot football fans. Living in a neighborhood with two sports stadiums is great 98% of the time, maybe 99% but once in a while - especially with football fans who are gross and trashy - you really love non-game days. They have taken to lining the street with porta potties in hopes it will remind the fans that using our sidewalks and doorways as toilets is tacky. Probably won't work. At least they are being vigilant about taking the temporary potties away after each game.
I can make my own brunch here and will - I'm thinking nice omelet - I have steak left over from last night's dinner.
Then I have some work I'd like to get done. It could wait until tomorrow but if I do it today, then the deck will be cleared for anything that pops up tomorrow. It makes me feel more organized to get it done ahead of time. And it pays the same one way or the other.
The main problem now is that Travis is all curled up here on my lap in front of this computer and I hate to uncurl him or me. Maybe one more round of this silly game I've been playing then I'll get up. Sundays are so wonderful for whiling away...
