Yesterday, sometime between 3 and 6 pm, I lost 4 tv channels. My Comcast account provides me a bascillion channels and best I can tell, all are working except for 4. Weird. I have two TV's and each has a TiVo and the situation is the same in both set ups. The 4 channels are the HD echos of 4 local channels. 104, 109, 112, 114. None of those work - all the rest do including 4, 9, 12, and 14.
I called Comcast and she reset stuff and did other stuff and nothing worked so Comcast guy coming out tomorrow. It's a problem that makes no sense but also one that is not critical. I missed Jeopardy last night but, I'll change the recording and get it tonight.

I had a wonderful morning swim. Half a mile plus some extra laps for good measure. I think I have the timing down. If I don't get up until the alarm goes off at 6:45, that puts me in the pool just after 7 and gives me plenty of time for a good swim. My regular pool only has early morning swims on Monday/Wednesday/Friday. There's another pool, Queen Anne, that has 6-7:30 for laps every day. I might try them some Tuesday or Thursday when I need the middle of the day for something else.

Today is the farmers market up in the park. I need pickles. Plus, I want to peek in the window of the new - not-yet-opened - cheese shop. I might even stop in that new Italian place and see if they have something antipasta-y for lunch.
The Mariner game is at 1. They won again last night. Weird.

The little things
Jul. 24th, 2013 04:12 pmThe dishwasher is emptied, the dirty dishes loaded in, the counters wiped down and everything put away.
All the drugs arrived today and have also been put away. The one with pills I have to split have all been split. I can now breathe and not stroke out for the next four months. And I hit my insurance's $2,500 deductible on drugs alone and a week before the six month mark.
I gathered all the info needed to file a claim to get $640 back as soon as the paperwork comes in - probably next Saturday.
I took trash down to the dumpster and put everything away in the bedroom.
Zoey's been stuck to me like glue all day. I ordered her another laser toy today. I think in addition to stressed, she might be a little bored. She loves the Bolt toy but after a few minutes, she knocks it over and then tries to get the red dot off the ceiling. No good will come from that. A new toy is way cheaper and easier than a new cat. We are not nearly ready for that.
Time now for a little pre-dinner book reading. I hate Summer but I feel like I'll be able to get through this one.
