This morning's swim was excellent. Again the pool was not at all crowded - just me and the other Saturday morning regulars. While swimming, I thought about the spare bed mattress situation. Mainly about how I can avoid bruising my hand every 2 or 3 days. I considered another airbed - maybe one without a leak. And then, around about 3/4ths of a mile, I thought about a memory foam mattress. No blow job needed. Easy to ship and comfortable. I rarely use that bed but, in winter, I love to go back there with my book and read. And I'd rather it be comfortable.
So, when I got home, I googled. And, memory foam looks like a good choice. I can't even find a twin airbed with a built in power pump on the side that isn't a double tall. And, even the ones that aren't perfect are expensive - nearly as expensive or more so than a memory foam mattress! So... I bought the perfect little memory foam mattress on Amazon. It will be here Tuesday.
I stopped at a place on the way home for breakfast. I really wasn't terribly hungry but wanted a nice, comfortable place to have coffee and read my book. I got breakfast anyway and it was delicious. As was the coffee and book reading.
I got home in time to beat the heat. The sun is out and it's warming up. But, all is cool and comfy here in my house.
Nothing big on the agenda today. The baseball game is at 4. All is good.
