So last night I watched the movie that my pool started in - 4 Minute Mile. My pool did a fabulous job. As did a whole lot of seattle. The actors, for the most part, did a good job, too. But the script was soooo bad.  The plot was the same plot used in a million other movies but the details of this version were particularly weak.

There were a lot of wonderful scenes of Seattle and I think it's the first time I've ever seen a movie or TV show set in Seattle that did not have one single scene with torrential rain in it.  This one had no rain. It was kind of amazing.  And it had no agregious geographical leaps like the ones, for instance, in Sleepless in Seattle.

I had coupons, and it was only an hour and a half. Totally worth the investment of $2 and time. And a hoot to see my pool. They did not even spiff it up or really change anything along the sidelines. It looked the same in the movie as it did this morning when I was in it swimming - no tire, tho.

No big plans today. There is a soccer game across the street tonight and a baseball game down the block.  Combine those with regular Friday afternoon traffic and getting the car out for any reason this afternoon will fall smack into the Not Smart category.  So if I go anywhere, it will be this morning but, honestly, I can't think of anywhere I need or want to go.

I have good books and knitting and the internets to entertain me.  Life is good.

I have eaten everything in sight today and I have no idea why. But I am now so uncomfortable that feel like I never want to eat another morsel every.  I hope it serves to remind me to not do that again.  And my nose won't quit running.  What an uncomfortable night.  I'm ready for it to be over.
