My bedroom is about 40-50 feet from the sliding glass door of the living room which is the only opening to the outside. And I'm up on the 4th floor. So, from my bed, I cannot hear rain or wind. (I can, however, hear partiers and football fans.) Apparently last night I did not hear a major wind storm. This morning it is a bit soggy out so the Seahwakians are getting a rather late start. It is 9 am - 3 hours from gametime and I have yet to hear the first yell. Fair weather fans!
The alarm did not go off this morning and I didn't wake up until 6:30 and then I killed off another 90 minutes dozing and and listening to NPR. Since I get up at 6am 3 days a week, it's just easier to make myself get up at 6 every day. But, with tomorrow being a day off, I figure a bit of a lie in won't hurt.
I started a new audio book last night that really sucked me right in and I stayed up later than usual. The Girl on the Train
Ahhh now there is some music I can hear out there in Seahawks land. Finally.
Time now to create a home made brunch for me and then maybe I'll do some laundry. The dirty clothes hamper is mounding on top.
