My TiVo Mini works! Finally! And beautifully!!

I got my first TiVo in 2000. And I've upgraded to a different/better one at least 6 times since then. Every single one involved excruciatingly frustrating, time consuming, crawling over cut glass set up. It never gets better. The Mini was the worst but none were fun.

But, with each and every one, the very minute it works, all is forgotten and forgiven. I cannot imagine watching TV without TiVo. I feel the same way about the Mini. I love replacing the CPU sized box with one the size of a hardback book. And once it worked, it just works. Quickly and perfectly.

YEAH!

Plus, my cable bill will be smaller and my brother will get a fun, new toy. Win Win Win. I even found a perfect box to mail it to him. It's all packed up and ready. The cable office is on the way home from the pool so I'll stop by there today and drop off the card and then I think I'll take the box to Office Depot because I'm not sure which would be cheaper/better - UPS or USPS. Office Depot has both.

My neighbors got home from their trip last night. Yeah!!

Tomorrow is bear delivery day so today I need to set them up for their photo and then pack them up for their trip.

I need to figure out a short set of stretching exercises that

1. I can do
2. I will remember to do
3. I will do

On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays when I swim early in the day, I spend the rest of the day sitting. I know this isn't good but it's the way of me. BUT by 9 pm my body feels like shit. I'm guessing that less than 3 minutes of some sort of moving (other than walking) about every 3 or 4 times during the day would make all the difference.

And, I find that my brain needs little breaks, too, so I pick up my tablet and do 5 minutes or less of a mindless game.

I have no problem remembering the game break... so maybe my trick will be when I go to pick up the tablet, the rule is no tablet until I get up and go stretch for 2 minutes first. And not just Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.

That trick might actually work. I'm going to give it a shot anyway. Starting today.
