Back to just me... with pizza
Jan. 27th, 2016 12:18 pmToday I went to the pool about an hour later than I have been doing lately and ugh. It was full pretty much the whole time. Tomorrow, I've got nothing going on and can go back to my early times. I did find out that one of the regulars quit because she's allergic to bromine (used to treat the pool). I still wonder if I am but, if I don't ask, I don't know and so don't hae to stop swimming. If, when winter is over, my skin still itches all over, I may have to ask. Until then, ignorance is my way.
After my swim, I got my nails done. Again I let the manicurist chose the color and I think she did a good job.
This time I remembered to get pizza from Papa Murphys so dinner is on my kitchen counter ..yeah! Tomorrow, I need to do some grocery shopping but tonight, is yum.
The other big news for today is a new fitness tracker is Out For Delivery. It's the other wrist tracker that tracks swimming. I do not expect to love it. In fact, I expect to return it. But, Google gave me a $20 gift certificate for Best Buy and they had their Moovs on sale so I figure it's worth at least satisfying my curiosity.
I have no more appointments or commitments this week and not much next week so I can go back to being the regular me. Nice. My rut is a very comfy place to be.
Someone is getting new appliances (front door TV network). Oh and there's a unit for sale in this building. It's been a long while since that's been a thing. We went for a lot of years with many units for sale but it's now been very rare for a long time. This unit is downstairs on the 2nd floor with a view into the apartment building across the street. It's smaller than my unit by about 100sq ft and has 1991 appliances in the kitchen but a new washer dryer. Or and original carpet. (I paid $167,000 for my unit in 1991.)
It will be interesting to see how long it takes to sell and for what amount.
