Success

I just had my first of the breakfast burritos that I made last week. I moved it from the freezer to the fridge last night and this morning, wrapped it loosely in a paper towel and nuked it for a minute and a half. De Lic Ious! It's exactly the after swim nosh I was looking for.

The lane line is still broken at the pool. Swimmers do not do well with anarchy. At least this morning there weren't too many of us so no blood was shed. The woman at the front desk said that it 'should be fixed soon'. In other words, no news.

This week is marked by the house cleaner coming on Wednesday and bear/doll delivery on Friday. Oh and payday. Social security and my little IBM retirement both land in my bank account this week. Nice. Otherwise, it's pretty much business as usual. EXCEPT for the baseball games which start on Wednesday. I'm very ready.

Taking a trip with your eyes

My doll eyes from Etsy took a side trip to Alaska!! I hope they have fun tales to tell when they finally get here.



Meanwhile, when I went back to the sewing area this morning, I remembered exactly where all the rest of the stuff I was looking for was hiding. It's a lot of little bits and pieces that the machine needs to do different maneuvers. It had landed in a couple of places and I found the last one this morning! Yeah.

Then I went on to spend more time ironing and folding and organizing fabric and putting like stuff together. Now the area is all neat and tidy and I can easily get to everything I need. So nice. I cut out all the pieces I need for dolls through Thursday. Friday starts a new doll month.
