Wednesday...
Mar. 2nd, 2016 08:59 amToday coming home from the pool in very heavy traffic only took 30 minutes. I think the stop and go makes it feel like a way longer trip than it is. My swim is nicer when I go earlier. More room in the pool and no sun glare. The price of stop and go traffic is not too steep for me.
Today is house cleaner day. As usual, I'll be glad when it's done. It's such a luxury. And I love the clean.
The bear/doll adoption lady wants the delivery tomorrow instead of Friday which suits me just fine. I need to get a couple of more group photos. Most are already bagged and ready all ready.
My doll eyes are still lounging around in Anchorage.
That's really all I got so far today.

Eating nostalgia for lunch
Mar. 2nd, 2016 12:12 pmI went to a very snooty private school. My parents paid a lot o' bucks and they taught me good stuff in spite of myself. But, the best thing I learned was in the dining room. The dining room manager was made some of the best food in the world.
Her fried chicken was just heaven on earth. Sadly, dining room rules disallowed picking it up with your fingers and it's impossible to enjoy even the best fried chicken with a knife and fork.
Her very delicious soup was always accompanied by finger sandwiches which were ribbons of jelly, peanut butter and cream cheese.
I'm bypassing the fingers for regular sandwich, peanut butter on one slice, cream cheese on the other and jelly in the middle. Delicious!!
My next doll wanted fur lined boots.

Goodwill Great dolls
Mar. 2nd, 2016 01:54 pmToday's dolls are brought to you by Goodwill. They had a sale on linens and I cashed in. I bought 4 pillowcases, 1 table runner and a bag of scraps for $5.60.
This was part of the table runner. It was lined with the solid green.
I had the fabric for those legs in my stash but never could find anything it went with until I pulled out this shark scene from the Goodwill bag of scraps. Now it's almost my latest favorite!
But, this one is my absolute favorite so far. It was a very cool lime, polka dot case with skateboard hem trimmed in that navy and white that now is at the bottom of the dress.
Plus, pillow cases have enough fabric to make a lot of dolls!
I just got called by an impressively clueless recruiter. I could not understand a lot of the details but so not interested. I have no time for a real job any more.
The Mariners are up 7-0 in the bottom of the 6th. Nice.
