My kitchen sink has a drip... sometimes. And when it's dripping and I can hear it (i.e. TV not on) it drives me nuts. I don't think it's a big enough deal to warrant a plumber but I sure as hell ain't going to fix it myself. I have several small electrician jobs I'd like done but this is my only plumb so it drips.

I started back on my Spiriva inhaler today. Sigh. I feel like it's a bit of a defeat but not a huge one.

Swimming was good and then after, I went to Safeway, 7/11, Bartell's, got gas and was home by 9. Zero traffic. Nice.

Last weekend when I went to this Safeway I spied some single slice pecan pie in the freezer and brought some home. It turns out to be perfectly acceptable pecan pie and excellent with a couple of scoops of vanilla ice cream. So today I went back to get more. This is why I am fat. Happy but fat. It's the price I pay.

The 7/11 was to find and use the Amazon locker to return a purchase. It was the first time I'd done the locker thing and it's quite handy.

I got the lotion and soap that the doctor recommended at Bartell's. I should lather on the location now. It's always a bitch to get it on my back. I have a couple of tools made for the job, neither or which is ideal. The pharmacist yesterday suggested a spatula. And damn if that doesn't work best of all!

(I'd like to say right here that having my Echo spell words for me - 'Alexa, how do you spell spatula?' - is awesome. She spells stuff for me several times a day and I lover her for it.)

I have a call from Google coming in between 10:30-11:30 about a user study. And that's it for today's commitments.

Zoey is outside on the terrace in the hot sun in her black fur coat. WTF, kitty??

I got the high priced CeraVe lotion for very dry skin. And I slathered it everywhere. And... it seems to be working. My skin feels now - 6 hours later - like I put the lotion on only about 10 minutes ago and there has been no itching. PIA to totally cream up but, if it works, I'm there.

When I went to look up the ink, I also saw they have an anti itch and it's at the CVS near the pool. I printed out the coupon and I'm heading there tomorrow.

I was accepted into the Google study. 1 hour of a video phone call for $75? Count me in. It sounds like it's about the Google store. Godknows I've bought enough stuff there.

And I made stuff.
