Biggie Hopes

I suspect it's because of the heat, but Biggie no longer sleeps in the bed with me. He sleeps under my bed just under my pillow. I'm fine with not having extra heat in the bed and I love that I can still hear him snoring all night.

This morning I got up and got onto the treadmill and fired up Robby... as usual. And he slept the entire time. I was almost worried but he got up and helped me make coffee and had breakfast and checked on outside and now is chilling at the end of the couch per uge.

He's been very good about taking his pill. I put the treat jar and the pill jar on the counter. He hops up and sits for the pill and then gobbles up the treat. It's a good system.

There has been not even one single hint of biting or anything close to it. I'm hopeful.

My phone is over heating like crazy. I had to pull out the tablet for my audio book because the phone go too hot to play it. Also it feels like my battery is just not lasting like it did. Probably the phone knows it's only got a few months to live since I will be replacing it with the next version. But, generally those suckers don't get shipped until October. That could mean a very long 4/5 months.

The sun is out so shades are drawn. And really I think this is the first day of Summer as far as hot days go. Oh well, the cool was lovely while it lasted.

No big plans today. I need bread but I can ration it out for a couple of days.

Biggie has just gone out to nap in the sun. With a fur coat on. I don't get it.

I highly recommend that you do NOT fall for them like I did. They were $4 off and looked like they'd be great in my Dash grill and they would have been except they taste like oversalted cardboard!! That's $10 I'll never see again. :( Yeah I can get a refund if I take them back and I just might. They are that bad.

But, I finished my sweater and it's amazing. Well it still looks like candy corn (which, honestly, is tastier in a candy but whatever) but it feels wonderful. It's going to be a wonderful and soft delight to wrap up in next winter.



A lot of hand knit sweaters are made in pieces and require a bunch of after work. Sewing of seams, etc. This pattern is written so that it's knit all in one piece and when you get to the last stitch, you weave in that one single last bit of yarn and you are ready to wear. It's a very cool pattern. I did a bit of documentation on Ravelry.

I got a notice today that my license plate tabs need renewal or will by mid-August. I went ahead and did it today so I don't forget. The state has finally gotten it's license renewal online shit together making it pretty darned painless. And... it's $50 cheaper than last year!

I spent some quality time with my phone and I think I may have fixed it. My fingers are crossed.
