bread bags and umbrellas

I am running out of bread bags. Actually I had to use a produce bag to scoop up this morning's 'gift'.

But... you know how if you remember your umbrella, it never rains? Well... Biggie has not bitten me since I made the appointment with the behaviorist. The last two days, in particular, he's been up here crawling around on me like he used to do with plenty of biting opportunities. This morning, he put his mouth on my arm, twice. Not even teeth, just mouth, briefly like he was kissing my arm. Wouldn't it be lovely if he was over the biting?? If I did not have an appointment set up, I would no make one. BUT, I have it set up and cannot cancel without losing a lot of $. I have a lot of questions and there's the whole bird thing. So it won't go wasted.

The food situation remains mysterious. Yesterday, I laid out some of the food I got from the pet food shop. Not interested in any of the wet. I had an open can of Wellness chicken so I spooned some of that into a dish, Not interested. Finally, i just left the rest of the can out on the counter and went back to the couch. He hopped up onto the counter, walked pasted the dish and proceeded to eat out of the can.

Robby ate the new Stickie this morning. I managed to rescue and repair it. I think it's interesting that it managed to get off the couch last night and on to the floor...

Today is a Diamond Club day - baseball and fabulous food. The down side is that we are playing the Yankees. There are many many Yankee fans here in Seattle and they all turn out for the game and they are pretty much all hands down, rude and loud and obnoxious and try as hard as they can to ruin the game for the rest of us - win or lose. So, ordinarily, I would not really be looking forward to this game. And, in fact, gave serious thought to turn in my ticket for a refund, BUT decided to take the other route. I used one of my freebies to get a ticket for ljtourist!

I could not get him a ticket next to me - he's on the row behind a couple of seats over. BUT, Ross is the Diamond Club seat master and he said to come find him and he'd see about hooking us up with two seats together. A Pandemic bonus. (prior to the pandemic all of the seats in the Diamond Club section were always sold out but this year there are lots of empties)

Plus, he's going to come by early and play with Biggie before we go up to the stadium.

So... big day!

And it is cool enough this morning with clouds so I can turn the a/c off for a while. Lovely to have the door open and hear the city.

And, shockingly, he did! He got a treat. He went right back out but is now lying on the floor next to the wall behaving himself. The over/under on that lasting is...
