I need to repot some plants
I want to get a different food for Biggie
I need gas
I could use a few groceries

But, none of the above has to be done today or needs to be done soon. And I'm not passionate about doing any of it. And there's nothing else really on the agenda. But, I feel like I'd like to get out and do something even if it's only a little something.

Indecision with no direction.

My foot is very much better. There's only a shadow of discomfort where the pain was yesterday. Now my calf is cramped from all the limping. I do think walking some more today will help that. I was able to do the treadmill without issue this morning.

It's lovely and cool and overcast this morning and I have tons of TV and crocheting to do. But first I think I'll go knock off one or two of those todos and then decide the rest of the day.

I've been wondering what Biggie is going to occupy himself with this winter when all the birds leave him. I don't have the answer but I have, apparently, stumbled on his nesting space.

I took the smaller rejected cat bed and washed it. I got distracted on the way to putting it onto the terrace shelves and left it on the couch. He found it today.

Earlier it was his bird watching spot.

No idea why he let THREE birds sit out there and mock him. (you can click to embiggen)

Now (about an hour later) it's raining out - more than just Seattle mist - and he's all nicely huddled in - safe, warm and dry - snoozin' and watchin'.

I did end up getting cat food, groceries and gas. The plants may have to repot themselves because I'm in crochet/tv watching mode now. To be followed by baseball watching. (It's gonna be some kind of chilly at that game - dry (cause they will have the lid closed) but it's only a lid, not a roof, so chilly gets in.

Oh and condo chatter. I rode the elevator down with the guy who lives two doors down. He's the husband of the politician. Probably in his 80's. We were talking about building noises and he said that people above him generated a ton of noise. He went to the board who were not helpful. He met with the father of the 2 year old who makes the noise and the father told him he was not 'fit to live in a downtown condo'. I've always thought this father is an asshole anyway. But geesh. I am very grateful I do not have a 2 year old above me. They have carpet (THANK YOU!) and the one interaction I had with them - their terrace was leaking rain into my living room - they could not have been more nice or accommodating. Whew.

Actually I think I'll go get some socks.
