I need to wash my windows. But only on the outside, I think. It's 8:30 and if I were smart, I'd get out there now and do it before the sun hits them and it gets hot.
Ha! turns out I am genius!! Just got off my ass and went and did it and then did the inside. Whew. Cats are a bit freaked and I forgot the mask so I just had a massive gross coughing attack. (The stuff on the shelves is just so dusty it gets me every time. I need to put a couple of masks out there so I don't do that again.)
But, damn. The windows look FINE!!
Those windows used to be a major stress factor. I could never get them clean and trying was a thankless chore. Then my brother, who, turns out has no fear of cleaning windows, was here. We went to a professional cleaning place and laid in supplies. So now I have a bin that has the juice in a spay bottle, a squeegee, a fluffy drying thing and paper towels all in one place ready to go. I just need to add a mask to the mix. But, it makes 'I should clean those windows' a fairly easy chore.
It's supposed to get hot this week. Really hot by the end of the week. But for the first year ever, I don't care!!!! My house will not be hot. I ran into (as in he turned the corner too fast) a guy at Costco last week who had a flat cart with a giant portable air conditioner on it. That was me and I'm so glad it is not any more.
Today I need to do laundry. I have a Mariner game tonight and my game pants need a wash so I'll just do all of it. Oh and I need to charge up the scooter. I'll leave here about 4:15. It will be nice to get back into my regular seat with the regular Press Club people especially after the Diamond Club experience. Plus it will be two weeks before the next game.
I really love my new Kindle Scribe. Way more than I thought i would. It is a dream as far as knitting/crochet instructions go. It's nice to be able to cross out/check off the steps as you complete them. I could print them out and use a pencil but I always hate doing that so I don't and then I get lost. This is just so easy. And cool.
I did get the wrong case. I ordered a different one that will be here today and will send this one back.
Ok the sun is out now or rather pointed this way and I can see streaks. So my job was not that great. But it's way better than it was. My lungs would like to not go fix it now so I won't but maybe tomorrow.
Right now I need to go take a shower and get that laundry started!
