Saturday

The gym does not open until 8 on Saturdays and Sundays and there's always a little crowd of regulars gathered. This morning it was more a meeting of old friends. Fun. My swim was also very good. I showered there and dressed and then went across the street to Whole Foods to return some Amazon.

Then on to Trader Joe's to get some of their cold brew iced tea concentrate. Turns out, iced tea is a seasonal item (no surprise there) and the season is over... iced tea season over in July??????? Joe?! Are you nuts? The store manager couldn't believe it and kindly and patiently searched his data base and then called another store to see what the story was. And the story is, iced tea season is over.

Note to self: Be more on top of this next year!

The good news is, there is some on Amazon. At a premium price. I ordered and will consider the extra cost - Lesson Learned.

I'm trying a new thing with my air conditioning. I have one unit in the bedroom and one unit in the living room. I'm turning the living room one off at night and the bedroom one off during the day. I'm trying it for a month to see how it affects the electric usage. My guess is that it will not but it will be good to test and see. The living room is easy cause I have an app on my phone. But the adapter needed to do that with the bedroom unit is still backordered. The remote that works the bedroom unit is fairly straight forward until you get to the timer function and then it is the mystery of mysteries.

I looked at a bunch of videos on YouTube (clearly I am not the only one confused) and finally think maybe I stumbled on the magical formula needed. I do with that back order would come in, tho.

Time now for lunch and then some tv and crochet.
