I played volleyball from 6-8 and then swam from 8-8:20 and then went to the dining room and had breakfast. Last time I felt like I waited too long for coffee so this morning I went in via the bar where they have an always on coffee machine which makes a damn decent cuppa so I got mine there and of course this time, the waiter was way more prompt. But it was fine and I have breakfast ready to reheat tomorrow. This is a good system.

But I need to remember to pack a fork in my swim gear.

The forks they have here are gynormous. I mean fork-lift size. When he was here, Christian commented they were European size. European's must have huge mouths. They are not fun to eat with. The salad/dessert (also known as reasonably sized forks) are kept rather far from the kitchen so when you ask for one, it's kind of a PIA. So I take my own when I remember.

My leg is getting better again. I'm taking special care of it in hopes for a full recovery.

My closet needs a bit of a reorg. I think I have settled on a good plan. I've ordered some bits from Amazon that won't be here until Monday so I think I can put off the whole thing til then.

The latest puzzle will be finished today. It's a way too easy one but the others love it. Yesterday Bonny, Myrna and Joan all were working on it at the same time. Somebody said that puzzles were good brain food. Our brains are getting chunky!

I guess I should get dressed. And I need to make the bed. This day is going to be gone before I know it.

My food money for the month ends Saturday at midnight and I have a good chunk left over so I've now made all my meal decisions for the rest of the week. Steak tonight, lobster mac and cheese tomorrow, steak on Saturday, clam chowder tomorrow and then I need to add a couple of those delicious scones they have down in the bistro. That will get me to zero. This is such a good life!!

Myrna and I started a new puzzle. The way all puzzles should be started. We made each piece face up as we sorted out the edge pieces and then we started working on the edge.

Myrna loves word pieces. And tonight she started putting together word pieces before we finished with the edge!!!

I called her out on it and told her it was against World Puzzle Rules. She stuck her tongue out at me.

I'm 74 and I don't give a shit but when you are 92 like she is, you can take it to a whole new level.

Just thought you youngin's should hear that now so you have something to look forward to.
