Kitty shenanigans
Jun. 29th, 2024 02:22 pmJulio knocked over a carafe of water with a plant rooting in it. He managed to wet down some yarn, the carpet, the table but most went into the upholstered chair. Fortunately, I'd only filled it up and set it out yesterday so the water is clean and all will dry eventually but ugh what a mess.
Then Biggie got the wanderings again. He hears people in the elbow and has to join. Doesn't matter whether I'm home or not. It's the elbow voices that get him, I'm sure. My fix on the door isn't that great of a fix as it turns out. He got out once and I figured I hadn't shut the door well enough. So I did but then he got out again. I finally had to lock the door. After coffee, I discovered this evidence on the floor by the door...
I guess I don't have to worry about trimming his nails anyway!
Volleyball was good. Elbow Coffee was good. Lunch was with the usual group of me, Myrna, Hazel and John. And, it was good. There was some puzzling.
And now, it's mid afternoon. I'm going to put my feet up and watch some TV and knit. The baseball game isn't until tonight.
