Glaxal Smith Kline has this stupid TV commercial for their overpriced osteoporosis drug. It's one pill you take once a month. Apparently, from the commercial, that is THE only differentiation between it and the more reasonably priced alternatives that you take more often.
The entire commecial is Sally Field addressing the camera in a sincerity that should be reserved for telling someone their cancer is terminal and explaining what a difference this drug has made for her friends who cannot remember a pill every day - now they only have to remember once a month. It is the only point of the entire commercial making both the message and the delivery outstandingly ridiculous.
vetch has a very legitimate I Don't Live In The U.S. excuse, but
pheon and
estis?? You guys are not watching enough TV. Seriously.
