Traffic was heavy this morning. On the road and in the pool. When I got there, there was one half lane open and the dude in the other half did not want to share. Tuff titties speedo man, move over. Which he did but then went on to make sure I paid attention to him the whole time. I did manage to slap the back of my hand against the hard plastic land lines. Ugly old people bruise.



It does not hurt but it's going to be ugly for a while. He finally left and I got my final 10 minutes in peace. Actually by then the pool was nearly empty. Note to self, maybe go a little later? At least try it on Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday.

This morning, I woke up to the evidence of an overnight project.



I, of course, blamed Julio because that fabric has been on those shelves for all four years that Biggie has lived here and he's never even looked at it.

BUT the cams tell all. About 3:15 this morning, the two of them had a meeting there in front of the shelves. And then over the course of the next 20 minutes they took turns pulling down the fabric. I think they are a bit confused as to why I haven't picked it up yet. They keep stopping and sitting on top of the pile.

I'll get to it. Possibly this is a sign that it's time to donate at least a bunch of it to Goodwill.

The airhorn mp3, on the other hand seems to be working!!! The sun is out and the shades are down. When Julio gets too close I play the airhorn and he gets distracted and forgets to screw with the shades. NICE!! This is the longest amount of time I've been able to have them down in I don't remember when.

Now the guys working on the building are here to measure my terrace roof. Biggie thinks this could be his day to get out there. He's wrong.

Today will be laundry day. And stay in side in the air conditioning day. I might order up some groceries for delivery but I might just try to get by on what I've got until the weekend. I don't have any plans to get in the car and go shopping.

I started watching Justified (Hulu) yesterday. I loved the original. This add on season is not gripping me yet but Timothy Oliphant is never hard to look at.

So in between laundry loads will be crocheting and Justified but first I need to pick up some fabric.

That is a phenomenon I noticed at the bakery. A bunch of people would always show up and wait for us to open, thinking they'll miss the crowds by being there first thing. Once we got through that crowd, things were usually pretty slow for the next 45 minutes until the regular crowds would show up.
