More than a year ago, I quit running my robot vacuum regularly. Mostly because of cat toys, I think. I have a stick vacuum that I do spot sucks with but they whole place was getting kind of shaggy so today, I turned the robot out, room by room to do his best. And he did good!!

I'm shocked that the app and the robot remembered the mapping and made appropriate allowances for stuff that had moved. The last time I ran it, I had the big white recliner in the center of the room but the robot saw that it was gone and ran where it was no more.

Now I need to do it more often.

These two are working to replace the cat hair that was sucked up.

There are a couple of people on my reading page feed who refer to their spouses as DH. I know what the initial stand for but in my head I always read Dick Head. It rarely does not fit.

The guy who bought the single set next to mine, Ray, told me last time I saw him that he wasn't going to re-up, probably. Today I got a note from Ty The Sales Guy. And Ray told him so now Frank can have that seat! That's for 20 of my games. I'll likely have to wait until after Labor Day to find out about the other 20.

Costco had a new lasagna on sale when I was there and I got it. The first serving was pretty good but after that, my tongue lost interest. Also the pizza I got? Turns out one slice there at Costco is delicious. More than one slice here at home, not so much.

Ok lessons learned.

I just ordered dinner from a favorite place. It's a menu item I had when my friends from New Zealand were here and I've wanted it again. I've never used Door Dash before so it's a test of the restaurant and the delivery. Fingers crossed. I have popcorn in house for a backup.

When I saw the title of your blog and Julio lying on the rug like that, I immediately laughed.

I used to work in an office where a sign on the door told me to not bring my PPE in. Of the various expansions I have for that, I couldn't help but think of, professional practice and ethics.

I laughed out loud at this - yes!! The robot doesn't seem to have respect for the industrious efforts of puddy tats to spread fur around.

The cats are just doing their job, spreading the fur, er, joy.

What brand robot vacuum, if I may ask?

Excellent. I think the cost of buying a robot vacuum will be offset by not having to have a cleaning woman in here so often. Thanks!

Oh my gosh. Now I will forever read Dick Head. And probably mentally refer to my own husband that way and chuckle to myself. hahahah
