Well that was stressful/lovely

susandennisThe Mariner game was a nail biter pretty much every inning but.. we won!! Beating Houston is just beyond satisfying.
Then I got nerdy.
My brother and his two sons and I all use Google Chat. We use it mainly by default and really for no good reason. Recently Chat quit notifying my brother when he got a text. Not handy. Today, his oldest suggested we switch to Signal. Fine by me, I don't care. EXCEPT Signal has no web version. Which is annoying. Not a show stopper but annoying.
No browser makes using it on a chromebook kind of impossible. Signal does have a Linux version. I know diddly about Linux. But I punched a few buttons in settings and waited for a download and then got an ugly black code window. I copied and pasted the three lines of code on the Signal site. This was not quite as easy as it sounds because the keyboard shortcuts are different and it took a bit do noodle that out.
Then I had to figure out how to launch the sucker. Turns out, you get a little icon like any other programs. Click that, scan the QR code and bingo bango, bob's yer uncle.
Now I totally Signalized.
Julio and Biggie have taken to napping separately lately. Julio is on my brother's bed in the sewing room and Biggie is in his little cat bed between the red recliner and the window here in the living room. I wonder what that conversation was about.
The air quality numbers have already beaten their forecast. 156 AQI The forecast was 105. The Tree That I Hate is, of course, blocking my view but in between the leaves, it is, indeed, very smokey.

If we can overtake the Astros I might be willing to allow the Mariners to keep winning now and then.
