susandennisIt's always so funny when local media - the ones who generally do not even know we have a professional baseball team - try to cover the Mariners. Now that they have a winning streak going and are making some serious headway into the standings, our local media is looking up how to spell baseball. In the first 30 seconds and/or 3 paragraphs, they generally get 3 out of 5 facts correct. Bless their hearts.
Today's game is at 11. I really hope they win.
This morning I was sitting on the toilet when I watched Biggie - the older more mature of my two cats - pry the top off the waterpick well and proceed to drink out of it. Julio can get one side open but all he wants to do it knock it over so all the water spills out. Biggie, I think, thought it was a food puzzle and just pried the damn lid right off. Cracked me up and took me a while to get it back on!
Since mid-July, I have swam(swum?) at least 1,000 yards every single day except 1. On August 2, I was a slacker.
I am changing the cats' food yet again. Now that I have them all settled on Friskies in pouches, the damn stuff is a bitch to find. Amazon has it but only from gouging vendors who are charging twice what they should. Chewy hasn't had it in weeks. I think it's time to move to Wellness which is carried by Whole Foods (which is across from the pool) and online and in all the pet food shops. They have three different gravy textures. I want to get a few pouches of each and see if they like one over the other. I may do that after the game today or not.
Also, my gas tank is dipping down below 50% and making me twitchy.
And I need to get a new Costco card to replace the Visa I canceled.
Happily none of that needs to be done on any big timetable. Just whenever I get a Round Toit.
