susandennisMy brother is at the airport. As usual, we left too early and ran into no traffic and the security at the airport was not an issue. Traffic getting home was a bitch but I got his 'at the gate' text just as I walked into the elevator here so all is good.
Last night's game was an extra inning horror show. But the food was good and it was fun to show Bill the Press Club experience.
From here on out, it's going to be all moving all the the time here.
Yesterday I sent an email to Christian who has lived in this building nearly as long as I have. He is a designer. He helped me with my tub to walk in shower deal a few years ago. I wasn't sure he was even still in business - he's not big on online stuff. But I asked anyway. For help with clearing out this place, staging and selling and decorating the new one.
I got his reply as we sat down to dinner. He's still in biz. He can help with the clearing out and the decorating and he recommended a guy who lives here as a realtor and he offered "I have had relatives and clients at Timber Ridge. I think it’s well run and has a nice community vibe."
So yeah!!!
I sent a note to Bret, the realtor.
Today I'm hoping to hear from my finance guy. I sent him a note yesterday with the details of what money I need when.
In my head I have a fairly good idea of what stuff I intend to take - it's a relatively small pile. And I've started lists of design issues Christian will need to solve. Where to put the litter box, where to put the printer, how to fit toaster oven, kurig and ice maker in and still have counter space... Etc.
Today I am going to the yarn shop to buy yarn for my next project. And, I will pop into the Fancy Market for sides to go with the stuff I have in the freezer from restaurant take home.
I need to go to Costco to pick up prescriptions but I think I'm going to save that for another day.
Oh, excellent. Bret, the realtor, is coming at 1 today.
