Whew and Yeah

I got confirmation this morning that we will be able to chose from carpet samples on Wednesday. Yeah!

And, I'm hoping I can put in orders for removing the half bath toilet and sink. I was thinking maybe I'd keep the sink but I have the one in the other bathroom and two in the kitchen. PLUS, now I'm thinking maybe I'll get a fold down ironing board in there and just make that little room a proper laundry room/litter box room. Nice.

But, the big news is that I finally heard from the Mariners sales guy. The one who promised to get back to me last week and never did. But, he just made up for it. He's going to refund my money!! That's nearly $9,000! I was going to get it back anyway by selling the ticket game by game next season but this is way better. Whew.

Decorating budget!!

I have one more dumpster trip to make and then I'm going to put my feet up and knit and find out more about Why Women Kill.

Score for not having to deal with selling the tickets one at at time! Refund is WAY easier!

I was going to suggest keeping the sink in your new laundry room - but while occasionally I think having a sink in the laundry room would be nice - my mom always seemed to think it was super useful - I haven't really missed having one in my current laundry room over the last 13 years :D

What kind of things do you iron? I don't have an iron and honestly haven't really ever thought "gee, I wish I had a way to press this"

I have a couple of cotton shirts and may get more because of the common area hot zones. So not that much BUT the idea of having the iron there and a place ready is very appealing.
