The whole thing with the internet provided was ridiculous. I waited forever to chat with Theodore who was probably a bot. I did knock a third off my bill with the same service. But, I could get no confirmation from him. Finally I went to Twitter and DM'd the team there who confirmed the deed had been done - and confirmed it in seconds. Hopefully it's only for another month or so and then I can tell them to kiss my giant ass. When I cancel, I'm sure going to start with the Twitter team.

I went through some boxes today - boxes that I was going to just move as is. But, it feels like a day without tossing shit out is a sad day now.

I gathered up all the papers I have - legal docs, unframed photos, keepsakes and put the stack into one bin. It's probably 2 inches high. I love that. I am so looking forward to living without all this shit.

Another roadblock to moving fell down today. The first pack of checks that I ordered arrived. So now I can at least get the haulers back (they like to be paid with a check). And I can pay the rest of the Timber Ridge entrance fee.

The list of things that need to happen before I can move is getting shorter.

Timber Ridge has to swap out carpet, remove washer/dryer, fix the outlet - those are must do's before I can move. It would be great to have the painting done. And the toilet and sink moved, plus get an outlet put in next to the other toilet. But those things could happen while I'm there.

I need to find something comfy to sit on in the living room even if only temporarily. I could take one of these recliners if I had a way to get rid of it when I got the good stuff.

And then the Mariner games... But, I really am thinking they aren't going to be playing games after next week.

I run this all through my head a million times a day. I'm ready to get there.

But, first, I'm off to a very cold Mariner game. It's 60 degrees out now and will be in the low 50's or lower by end of game. I remember packing gloves somewhere. I just don't remember where. Oh well.

I wonder if you could ask your contact at Timber Ridge if they have a local 'classified listings' type of deal?

I suspect that if you took your brand new recliner with you, once you were done with it, someone else in the complex would love to have it? I wonder if they have anyone there who would move it from one apartment to another?

I'm sure you could find a way to get rid of it - around here you could put it up on craigslist or the local FB sales groups and someone would show up and take it away and pay you for the privilege :D

Similar conditions here, where we're going to the last Red Sox home game of the season. Layers upon layers will be needed.

I see the Mariners won last night, so they still have a shot (and they're playing the teams they need to beat, which can either help or hurt). The Red Sox, after their recent slide, are pretty well guaranteed to finish in last place and below .500.
