Karmic Deficit

susandennisI am using up my karma at an alarming rate. It's a good thing I've got more years behind me than ahead because I would be seriously worried otherwise.
Christian is just the best ever. He's lovely to be around, isn't afraid to make decisions or share decisions depending on the need. And he is packed to the brim with excellent ideas. We are painting my new apartment with the very same colors that are in my condo now! the colors that I love in new combinations. We left the paint color numbers on masking tape on each wall.
Pam is on vacation and so we met with her manager who, oddly, is also her sister. Jill gave us some pushback at first on some items but we pushed back harder. "But we just put new carpet in that apartment." I don't care, not my issue. I don't like it and I don't want it. We went back and forth on the carpet thing but Christian and I persisted strongly and she finally eased back. I think she's going to try and charge me but we will see.
We did win on the laundry room/litter box/ice maker room. Toilet out, sink out, cupboard out (it's too small and weirdly placed), light fixture out. Shelves and ironing board in. The kitchen cabinets are old people low so I can actually reach all them but this leaves no room for my beloved ice maker. Then Christian found the perfect spot in the half bath which sounds weird but will, actually, work fine!
We planned for furniture and shelving and this and that. I found the storage space for my particular apartment and it is right next door and it is PERFECT for my scooter. Perfect.
I remembered to take photos of the appliance manuals so I can download the PDF's and study up.
And then we went out to lunch. We talked about timing and getting rid of shit and fixing the house to sell. Jill gave me a brochure from a company that handles everything. They actually do a lot of what I've already done BUT they will find a place to donate shit, donate it. Pack up everything else and move it and unpack it and toss out the packing mess. I have an appointment to talk to them in an hour.
Christian just sent me a complete list of our requests for me to stamp OK and send on to Timber Ridge. I love that he's done that already! And I sent it.
It's going to be amazingly wonderful marvelous and perfect. I'm just so excited. Jill asked me what would be my preferred move in date and I told her 2nd or 3rd week in October and she hid her horror well. Christian and I decided that we didn't like her much but we'll deal til Pam gets back week after next.
And check this out! I found it in a folder with the appliance manuals.
