Fast and Furious

The Mariners lost again last night. It would be more depressing if each loss didn't mean I get to move sooner. Talk about conflict! I was so tired that I went to sleep before the end of the game and slept great until 4 am when I woke up making lists in my head and could not go back to sleep. So I got up and did stuff and then went back to sleep. Luxury.

I do need to go to the grocery store today and do a load of laundry.

I swapped some email with the move lady - Natasha. She sounds like she's on tap do do clean this house out - donations to charity, trash gone and the rest to Timber Ridge. Then I can move in and turn this place over to Bret and Christian. She's already making arrangements on the Timber Ridge end. So nice.

My refund for next year's Mariner tickets hit my Capital One account. I had to call them to get them to send it to me in a check. I'll have to do that again, probably, with the refund on the playoff ticket. Oh and I sold my Brandy Clark ticket. I hope I will not be here by the time that concert happens so I put it up on StubHub and got my money back. Tidy.

I've got a lot of moving odds and ends. As I think about Natasha's appointment next week, I think I need to start marking shit. I'll get out some masking tape and a sharpie and make sure everything is designated GO AWAY or GO TR.

The cats have given up their closet bedroom. So it's time to dismantle it. There are two boxes of stuff and a full suitcase - time to crack those open.

Also maybe I should make GO TR tags for Biggie and Julio!

Do not forget to take your stain glass window. It is beautiful and will be a show stopper in the windows in your new place.

James, of course I won't forget my artwork. The panels will not work in the new windows BUT we have a home for them where they will be back lit and beautiful in the new place.

Just curious. What's happening to your stained glass fireplace screen? It's so pretty, but I'm not sure you have a fireplace. (You know I was inspired by seeing yours to get one myself!)

Alas, the fireplace screen is going to need to go to a new fireplace. It will be donated. I don't really have any place for it in the new apartment. It was a great find, though, for sure.
