Out of steam

susandennisYou know that great idea about tagging everything? Well, yeah, it's still in my head only. But, I did dismantle the cats closet bed which turned out to be a suitcase and two giant boxes of OhYeah!That'sWhereThatWent!! Then I cleaned out the blanket storage under the purple couch - half goes, half goes away.
Then I did laundry. Load one is done. Load two is doing and Load three is patiently queued.
And I went to the grocery store. Oh and got gas! I was way below half a tank. It was getting into scary territory.
The groceries are all sorted, put away and meals listed on the fridge board. And I'm totally out of steam.
I think I'm going to take the rest of the day off. That tagging idea will be just as genius tomorrow.
I am so ready to leave this condo. There are a whole lotta things that just annoy me that I have pretty much swallowed but now that I'm leaving, I'm all THANKGOD I will NOT have to put up with that shit any more.
Dog walkers who do not live here and may not know the rules and break every one that we try to hard to ensure aren't broken, like letting any yahoo off the street into the building. Yesterday, two dudes got in and stole a motorcycle right out of the garage. Today, as I was coming in from the grocery store a dog walker (who walks lots of dogs in this building) was coming in and said to this guy on the street "do you need to get in here? I can let you in if you do."
NOT MY PROBLEM any more.
Each floor, by the elevator has a little area that has a mirror and kind of a ledge - styled on purpose. A while back, someone started leaving tacky decorations out there. More and more and more of them all the time. Not all were terribly tacky. None were classy They all irritated the shit out of me. AND were against condo rules.
Last week, they were gone. The mirrors were cleaned to a sparkle and the ledge all cleaned and dusted for the first time in ages! I was delighted.
Yesterday I was telling Christian how wonderful it was to get back to the basic building style without all the birthday party decorations. HIT a hot button there! Turns out Christian has been on a jihad to get rid of the crap for a year! He's on the 2nd floor and it's been gone from there for some time but all the floors are finally nice again and the board has been re-educated on the rules. Go Christian!!
And another Christian-ism. He drives a big assed Mercedes. So I asked him if he'd ever used Bellevue Mercedes or was his loyal to the Seattle one I hate... Another ear full. Turns out his experiences with the Seattle Mercedes place are the same as mine 'no matter how much money you spend with those people, they treat you like someone they have never met before'. And don't really want to see now. He said he had toyed with the idea of switching over to Bellevue Mercedes because he has a friend that says they are very customer centric. Answers my questions. Hopefully, I don't have to go for another 8 months but when I do...
Now I'm going to get some iced tea and put my feet up.
