I have been waiting all day for the doctor's office to call. My appointment is tomorrow morning and I was hoping that they would call to postpone it again but they just called to confirm. 8 a.m. I have to be there at 7:30 because it's my first time. None of the women on the phone mentioned it but I found their forms on their website and filled out the two new patient ones. Hopefully that will help.

This place is fairly close by. Oddly enough there are no buses from here to there. Well, that's not true. There's a bus that gets there eventually but it's kind of like going from North Carolina to Tennessee via Texas. So I'll drive. I'm trying not to stress about it and being fairly successful.

Still no work to speak of. I had an opportunity to mention it again to the project manager this morning. I hope they snag something new soon.

It's way too soon to start thinking about Plan B. But, I can't go forever without an income and, nearly more importantly, without something to do. I'm looking into some volunteer opportunities but I am so freakin' picky that I really would make a crappy volunteer. You really need to like people better than I do to help them out much.

I know!! All of a sudden the day was here.

Good luck with the doctor's appointment - but I'm sure it'll turn out to be fun! ;-) I was terrified when I had to go to a doctor about 4 years ago due to some really scary symptoms; I had a horrible case of medical-phobia. Now it's almost run of the mill. Almost, though - not quite!

I've been going to doctors incessantly for 6 months straight and I still get nervous before an appointment. What was really weird, was this last time many of the doctors and nurses at this place would come up and comment on how much improved I look and about the last time I was there.
And I still get nervous.
Go with it.
It makes for a great blood pressure reading.
