LJ seems very slow and has seemed slow for the past week. There was one announcement of a problem on like Thursday but otherwise no one's saying anything so it must be my imagination.

My new wig fits better today. I think I'm finding out that it takes about 3 days to get a new one molded to my head. I'm sure readers are sick of hearing about wigs but I still can't get over the miracle of it. I've had crappy hair for 53 years. I walk by a mirror now and get whiplash. Who is that with the fabulous hair???

I'm jes doing stuff here today - laundry, futzing, making my list for taking stuff to Mom's, jes stuff. It's a dark, rainy day out - a wonderful day to be inside, warm, dry and cozy.

I think I envy you. I've always wanted to play around with what different types of hair might look like on me ... but when you have hair down to your butt, and want to keep it? Wigs are not an option, I don't think.

I totally understand. But, there may be hope... Cher still has her long, thick natural hair and wears all kinds of wigs. Wonder how she does that?

I haven't noticed LJ being slow, but it has been erratic about emailing me comments for the past few days.

I've read posts from folks complaining about the email problems. Haven't seen those. Maybe you get a choice - slow service or email problems. Nice of them not to give you both.

Seems that way to me, too. And I've had the missing email notice problem this week. Also noticed that people haven't been posting as much. Maybe getting into holiday busy-ness mode.

No, I'm not, dammit. Keep me posted on this. With the hair falling out I had earlier this year, I'm very interested in wigs. I think I'm going to have to get back on hormones for the hot flashes, and if my hair starts falling out again, I'll know it's from that. And I'll know about WIGS. So keep talking, bay-bee!

Same thing down here. Got me a smoked pork hock and soaking some split peas right now. Cornbread and pot o'soup tomorrow.
