New chair

I got my new chair and I like it but it's going to take some getting used to. It's about 2 inches higher than my other one even at the lowest setting. It's way easier to get out of and it has lots of nice adjustments and it was a discontinued floor model so I got it for $197.00 and it's purple suede (not suede really but that suedey stuff they use on furniture a lot). It beats the hell out of my old one. The 2 higher inches are probably in the seat padding. And even more likely, I haven't gotten it adjusted correctly. But, right now, it feels pretty darned good. It's huggy.

I had a great lunch with Patty. Walked all over town before hand and then walked back after. I've done my fresh air thing today. Patty and I got all caught up and then decided that we'd have a repeat lunch next month. Second Tuesday. Cool.

I just got an invitation to a rehearsal dinner. Sounded like a wedding rehearsal dinner. The invite came to my gmail account and, oddly enough, is for dinner at a town about 30 minutes south of here. Weird. I declined the invite.

Betty and Jake have their It's Close Enough To 5 O'Clock Already action going on. Guess I'll feed 'em.

As I sit here in my broke-down office chair, ass going numb, I must say I'm feeling some hefty chair envy. I guess I'd better stop being so cheap and invest in a new chair.
